With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia E. Lukes (Zelienople, Pennsylvania), born in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 18, 2018 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Balint Birtalan; her husband John F. Lukes; and her brother Benedict Birtalan. She is survived by: her parent Mary Toth Birtalan; her sons, Denis J. Lukes (Trudy) of Zelienople and John E. Lukes of Beaver Falls; her grandchildren, Mallory Rossini (Adam) of Winter Park, FL, Zachary Lukes of Pittsburgh, Madeline Lukes of Ambridge and Clayton Lukes of Manassas, VA; and her brother Bert Birtalan of Wampum.

Memorial donations in Julia's honor may be made to St. Gregory's Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople, PA 16063.
