She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sapienza, Jr. and Lucy Tutino Sapienza; her husband Russell S. Koch; her daughter Paula; and her siblings, Joseph Sapienza III, Louis Sapienza and Rosalie Sapienza.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Bria; and her children, Luanne Mauro-Atkinson of Arizona and Kent Koch of Cranberry Township. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made in her honor to Divine Grace Parish.
