He was predeceased by: his parent Albert Pearce; and his former wife Marjorie C. Crea Pearce. He is survived by: his parent Margaret Wilson Pearce; his wife Evelyn M. Lydick Hankey; his children, Lois Wiley (Gary) of Zelienople, Vickie Mason (Scott), Richard Pearce (Joyce) of Cranberry Twp and Bryan Pearce (Billiejo); and his stepchildren, Cathy Runninger (Allan) of Franklin and Robert Hankey Jr. (Sandra). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and step great great grandchildren.
