It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward L. Smith of Zelienople, Pennsylvania, born in Evans City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 14, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Smith and Mabel Hoffman Smith; his brother Harold; and his sons, Edward Jr. and Ronald Scott Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Audrey Brittner Smith; his children, Charlene Nagle (Ken) of Zelienople, Mary Wildman (Davy) of Evans City, Jennifer Welton (Matthew) of Leander and Thomas Smith (Teresa) of Evans City; his grandchildren, Julie, Christopher, Fallon, Rick, Lucas, Nickolas, Alyssa, Rachel, Renee, Kiersten, Ronald and Dmitry; and his great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Maya, Theo, Macy and Elias.
