He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Clayton Hartman and Virginia MacDougal Hartman; and his daughter Heather Elizabeth Mandarino. He is survived by: his wife Judith Kaye Hartman; his daughter Alison Anne Brandeis; his grandchildren, Lane Kummer, Nolan Kummer, Sofia Hartman, Camila Hartman and Nina Brandeis; his children, Todd [Vanessa] Hartman, Kathryn [Daniel] Henderson and I. Jeffrey; and his sister Linda [James] McCalmont.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pitt Band Championship Fund or Hope Lutheran Church.
