She was predeceased by: her parent Alfred McConnell; her former husbands, Chester Leroy Brown and Thomas Vernon Brown; her son Chester W. "Skip" Brown; her siblings, Lois Steigerwald, Nancy Spurk and Rodney McConnell; her stepson Tim Brown; her grandson Roy Stanley Long, Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Clinton Leroy Long, Jr., Thomas Richard Zoelle Jr. and Caden Thomas Zoelle.

She is survived by: her parent Ida Mae Thomas McConnell; her children, Diana Zoelle, Jeffrey Brown (Joy), Barbara Long (Roy), Tracy Brown and Tod Brown (Rayann); and her brother Jim McConnell (Mary). She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
