She was predeceased by: her husband William; her parents, Clarence Southorn and Mary Southorn; her brother Charles; and her brother-in-law Edward Rice (Mildred).

She is survived by: her brother Robert Southorn; her daughter Cynthia Rice of Summerville, SC; her grandson Nathaniel Jones (Taylor) of Dallas, TX; her sister-in-law Patricia Southorn of Pittsburgh; her nieces and nephews, Laurie Orem (John) of Darien, CT and Robert Southorn; her great-nephews, James and Ben; and her great-niece Betsy Rae (Gary) of Pittsburgh. She is also survived by five other nieces and nephews.
