She was predeceased by: her parent Harry Z. King; and her siblings, Martha Mooney, Janet Zuchva and Harry King. She is survived by: her parent Helen Russell King; her husband Earl W. Gilliland; her children, Donna Evans (Daryl) of Lancaster and Michael Gilliland (Nancy) of Portersville; her grandchildren, Christopher, Jeremy Evans, William Gilliland and Lisa Bills; and her great great grandchildren, Jake, Jillian, Eva, Connor, Cameron and Sam.

In lieu of flowers, Caroline's family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her honor to the Salvation Army, 313 W. Cunningham Street, Butler, PA 16001.
