Tim Gugino wrote a sympathy message

“To the Decaro Family, I write on behalf of Larry's Sig Tau Fraternity brothers. He became a brother in 1971 at Edinboro University and was very proud to be a member of our brotherhood. We never really called him Larry; his nickname was "Crackers". None of us can remember why the nickname but we agree it fit his happy zany personality. We all are saddened to hear of his passing and wish to offer our sincere condolences. Tim Gugino and All the Brothers of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity”
