He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Ciampini and Perina Tiberi Ciampini Sr.; his former wife Catherine "Kay" Manzi Ciampini; and his sister Joan B. Derco. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Ciampini (Rick Hoyle) of Greensburg, Jim Ciampini (Amy) of Ashburn and John Ciampini (Carla) of Hanover; his grandchildren, Nathan Hoyle (Nate Hanley), Andrew, Courtney and Nic Ciampini; his fiancée Mary Ann Popovich of Greensburg; and his sister-in-law Gloria Manzi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Network in memory of Catherine J. Ciampini.
