He was predeceased by: his parents, William Darling and Myrtle Darling (Sullivan); his son Rick Darling; and his siblings, Myrna Haight and Wayne Darling.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Darling (Luther); his daughter Cindy Saber (Joe) of Irvine; his siblings, Carolyn Hallberg (Elmer) of Ellery Center, NY, William Darling (Patty) of Youngsville and Donald Darling of Clarendon; his grandchildren, Chad Johnson (Michelle) of Youngsville, Katie Murphy (Chris) of Youngsville and Rickel Stearns (Scott) of Youngsville; and his great grandchildren, Cole, Paiden, Collin, Page, Kaeli and Sawyer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
