He was predeceased by: his wife Delores May Smith; his parents, Freeman Smith and Rena Smith (Firth); and his siblings, Ernest Smith, Janet Brown, Louella Braley, Carolyn Walcott, Norma Smith and Vera Kellogg.
He is survived by: his children, Alan R. Smith (Dori Bennett) of Sugar Grove, PA, Debra S. Oldaker (Larry Oldaker) of Bridgeport, WV, Brenda A. Smith, Beth M. Penland (Kent) of Stoneboro, PA, Lynn M. Smith of Warren, PA and Daniel R. Smith (Rochelle Schell) of Bear Lake, PA.. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Scott M. Nelson Fd Tessa Ward Fd (314 N Main St, Youngsville, PA 16371). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
