He was predeceased by: his parents, David Thomson and Vernice Thomson (Schweitzer); his wife Rhonda Thomson (Vance); his brother David C. Thomson; and his stepdaughter Carrie Vance.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Thomson Jr. of Starbrick and Daniel Thomson of Starbrick; his granddaughters, Melissa Harkins (Shawn) and Maddison Thomson; and his stepdaughter Crystal Wheeler (Brian) of State College, PA.. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
