He is survived by: his wife Martha Burkett Whiteley; his brother Norman "Butch" Whiteley (Carol) of Springcreek, PA; his children, Rochele McClearn (Bob) of Mercer, PA, Penny Cunningham (Richard) of Alabama, Patty Thomas (Richard Thomas), Michele Salazar (Nubia) of Boston, MA, Susan Saar (Jay) and Steven "Andy" Whiteley of Pittsfield; his grandchildren, Dominick, Matt (Amy), Sean, Brett, Derick, Sadie, Kyle, Zachary, Anika and Montserralt; his great grandchildren, Brea and Shelby; and his siblings-in-law, Blaine Burkett (MaryLou) of Corry, PA and Evelyn Smith of Williamsport.
