He is survived by: his children, Linda Dickerson (Randy) of Wilmington, NC., Steven Nelson (Michele Maille) of Youngsville and Scott Nelson (Colette) of Youngsville; his sisters, Elsa Manelick of Youngsville and Karen McNeely of Kissimmee, Florida; his grandchildren, Lea, Cameron Nelson, Robbie, Sarah Dickerson, Tyler, Bergen and Ryleigh Nelson; and his close friend Judi Eastman.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to a charity of choice.
