He was predeceased by: his parents, John Michael Sedlak and Sophia Helen Sedlak (Bator); his wife Joyce Elaine Shugarts; his siblings, John, Jr., Michael, Mary and Frances; and his nieces and nephews, Janet Sedlak, Dena Shivery, Robert, Gregory and Douglass Sedlak.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick Sedlak (Lynn) of Woodbridge, Virginia, Marie Sedlak Lupone (Christopher) of Austin, Diane Brookhart (Gary) of Hobbs and James Sedlak (Gina Jo) of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; and his brother George Sedlak. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
