He was predeceased by: his parents, David K. Bartel and Sharon M. Patrick (Goodrich); and his grandparents, Tressa, Maurice Goodrich, Ruth and Carl Bartel.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Bartel of Warren, Kristy Wiegand (Micah) of Spokane, WA and Laurel Mikich (Nick) of Las Vegas, NV; his stepchildren, Chad Durstine (Danielle) of Youngsville and Taylor Domer (Erin) of Warren; his grandchildren, Corbin, Orion Bartel, Charlie and Elec Domer; his brothers, Kevin Bartel (Toni) of Celina, TX and Scott Bartel of Lockport, NY; and his nieces, Ashley and Samantha. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren, and loved being 'Papa'.
