He is survived by: his wife Sue Shirley; his children, Danielle Stewart (Jesse) of Youngsville, Adrienne Shirley (Justin) of Jamestown and Derrick Shirley; and his brothers, Freeman Shirley of Jamestown, Gilbert Shirley of Youngsville, Edgar and Raymond Shirley. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
