He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Rulander and Bessie Chambers Rulander; and his siblings, Herbert, Curtis, Howard Rulander, Marie Johnson, Lettie Anderson, Velma Rulander and Violet Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Lovena DeVore Rulander of Women's Auxiliary; his children, Sheila Slaughter (Ross) of Mount Vernon, OH and Frederick A. Rulander III (Kristine) of League City, TX; his brother Lester Rulander of Youngsville, PA; and his sister-in-law Jerri Rulander of Warren. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Warren Volunteer Fire Department, 12 S. State St., Warren, PA, or to Friends of the Rouse, 701 Rouse Ave., Warren, PA.
