She was predeceased by: her parents, Elden Merle and Dorothy Cuthbert McNary of Eighty-Four; and her brothers, Merle Allen, Glenn and Clarence McNary (Sonny) of Eighty-Four, PA..
She is survived by: her husband Archie Bergen Chalfant; her daughters, Sheree Troy (Tom) of Valdese, NC and Darla Herrnberger (Philip) of Irvine, PA; her grandchildren, Grant Herrnberger of Proctor, WV and Abigail Herrnberger Novotny (Mike) of Slippery Rock, PA; her great grandchildren, Clayton, Raigyn, Bena and Everett; and her sisters, Donna Kraeer of McDonald and Jean McNary of Murrells Inlet. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
