She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Townsend and Della Clark Townsend; her husband Leonard Pearce Sr.; her brothers, Willie, Perry, James, Eugene and Ollie Jr. Townsend; her son-in-law Charles Berger; and her stepsons, Leonard and Alelijah Pearce.
She is survived by: her children, Katie M. Berger and Charles W. Townsend. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and dear friends.
