He is survived by: his friends, Ray and Eddie; his wife Carol L. Staten; his children, Monique Gamble of St. Petersburg, William Staten of Ohio and CaRai Staten of Youngstown; his grandchildren, LaDee Gamble, Gloria Wright, Bobbie Wright, Honey Wright and Reign Staten; his great grandchildren, Rayonna Staten and Kori Staten; his mother-in-law Constance Southerland of Youngstown; and his siblings-in-law, Lenore Southerland of Columbus and Frederick Southerland of Youngstown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, and dear friends, especially his fellow trucker, Shawn Triplett, who he looked upon as a younger brother.
