He was predeceased by: his parents, John Petro and Mary Petro (Bacik); and his siblings, Suzanne Boor, Marie Arthur, John Petro, Andrew Petro and Paul Petro.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Ruscak; his sister Mildred Balash; his sister-in-law Helen Ruscak of Youngstown; and also Ocala.
