He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Oliver and Beulah Phifer Floyd, Sr.; and his siblings, Wilma Brown, Willie Oliver Jr., Alfred Floyd and Cornelius Floyd.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Barnes Floyd; his children, Dawud W. Abdullah of Boardman, Michael D. Floyd of Boardman and Chrystal L. Floyd of Boardman; and his siblings, Joretta Cotton of Cleveland, Ethel Pusey of Youngstown, Yolanda Jenkins of Youngstown, Julia Ells (Donald) of Youngstown and Lamont Floyd of Youngstown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
