He is survived by: his son Lamar Smith; his siblings, Kimberly Ann Howard, Lecolia Morrissette, Jeannie Marie Drummond (JB), Ottilie Smith, John Henry Purifoy (Mona), Donald Wallace (Linda) and James Kenneth Smith; and his parents, Jimmie Smith and Rev. Willie Mae Minor.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel J. E. Washington Funeral Home.
