James Thorpe II Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Thorpe II (Youngstown, Pennsylvania), born in Girard, Ohio, who passed away on January 29, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent James Lucy Sutherland Thorpe Sr.; his significant other Shelby Gregory; and his granddaughter Jasmine Thorpe. He is survived by: his child Rhonda Williams (Robert) of James Thorpe; his stepson George Thompson, Jr.; his siblings, Mary Grace, Nellie Harris, Ruby Toney (LeeVaughn), Delores Simmons (JC) and Ida Tharpe; his grandchildren, Temeka Williams of James Thorpe, Nicole Pritchard and Johnathan Stacy; his great grandchild McKenna Williams; and his niece Rosalynd Lee. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
