It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William J. Forbes (York, Pennsylvania), born in Mineral Wells, Texas, who passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Forbes (Moffitt) and Roscoe Forbes; his brother Jerry Forbes; his niece Kiersten Forbes; and his son-in-law Gary Almes.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Forbes (MacKenzie); his daughters, Amy Forbes (Jeff Kateley), Kerri Forbes (Bill Reiss) and Abby Williams (JJ); his stepchildren, Scott Stevens (Jackie), Marci Almes and Debbie Williams (Dave); his sisters, Carol Druck (Phil) and Deborah Forbes; his siblings-in-law, Teresa Forbes and Dick MacKenzie (Jean); and his former wife Audrey Forbes. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, one great-grandson and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
