Walter Valentine Borys Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Walter Valentine Borys of York, Pennsylvania, born in Baltimore, Maryland. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bronislaus Borys and Cecelia Mary Borys (Rachuba); his siblings, Albert J. Borys, Edward S. Borys and Dolores M. Clouspy (Borys); and his nephew Drew Clouspy.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Borys (Dudderar); his nieces and nephews, Cynthia, George, Valerie, Tom, Greg, Barbara, Jay, Kim, Nicole, Tim, Amy and John; and his brother-in-law Mark (Sally). He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews, along with great-great nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. (24 N 2nd St, New Freedom, PA 17349). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (315 N Constitution Ave, New Freedom, PA 17349). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. John the Baptist Cemetery -New Freedom (315 N Constitution Ave, New Freedom, PA 17349).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to: Tunnel to Towers Foundation at T2T.org.
