She was predeceased by: her parents, Marian Z. Kelley and William H. Poteat; her son-in-law Simon J. McKeown; and her sister-in-law P. Jean Johnson (Uhler). She is survived by: her husband John C. Uhler; her daughters, Anna Kristen Uhler-McKeown of Reston, VA and Gretchen Carlyle Scott (Keith) of Bethesda, MD; her grandsons, Trey and Cameron Scott of Bethesda, MD; her stepgranddaughter Ruby McKeown of York, PA; her siblings, Anne Carlyle Poteat of Pittsboro, NC and Edwin McNeill "Mac" Poteat, III of Greensboro, NC; and her nieces, Nijah Poteat, Jada Poteat, J'nai Poteat, Susan Peterson (Johnson) and Julie Moscariello (Johnson).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Advent Lutheran Church (1775 E Market St, East York, PA 17402). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc., Attn.
