He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna M. Bortner (Senft) and Henry A. Bortner; and his brother Harlan Ray Bortner. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Doug Bortner (Lisa) and Amy Poff (Matthew); and his grandchildren, Anna (Zach McCorquodale), Jakob Bortner, Ben and Ella Poff.
Viewing was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. (53 Main St, Glen Rock, PA 17327). Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Glenview Alliance Church (10037 Susquehanna Trail S, Glen Rock, PA 17327). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mr. and Mrs. B Scholarship Fund at Glenview Alliance Church.
