She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Williams and Henrietta Williams (Getz); and her sister Lois A. Yattaw (Williams). She is survived by: her husband Gary D. Sowers of York; her children, Jeffrey A. Sowers (Jean) of York and Susan S. Grove (Brian) of Dillsburg; her grandchildren, Janelle Jackson (Danny), Jeremy Sowers (Brenna), Brittany Grove and Julia Sowers; and her great grandchildren, Malachi, Ezekiel, Joanna Jackson, Emery and Riley Sowers. She is also survived by two nieces and a nephew.
