She was predeceased by: her parents, Ward R. Hartwell and Viola Hartwell (Lutz); and her brother James Hartwell. She is survived by: her husband George K. Steele; and her children, Mark Steele (Cindy) of Lancaster, Thomas Steele of York and Karen Leiphart (David) of Red Lion. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
