She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph E. Machin, Jr.; her parents, Herman H. Hardesty and Ethel P. Hardesty (Mahon); her grandson Joseph E. Machin IV; and her brother David E. Hardesty.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie A. Henry (Harold) of Hanover and Joseph E. "Earl" Machin III (Jetta) of Glen Rock; her grandchildren, Tracey R. Beyer (Brian) of Hampstead, MD, Tonya M. Nagle (Jeremy) of Thomasville, Matthew T. Henry (Kayla) of Hanover and Timothy S. Henry (Whitney) of Virginia Beach; and her brother Vernon F. Hardesty (Joyce) of Taneytown, MD. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
