He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell W. J. and Irene Potter (Hepfer); his son-in-law David Hedrick; his brother Kenneth Potter; and his brother-in-law Dexter Kenyon.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Potter (Eppley); his daughters, Debra Holtzinger (Terry) of York and Gail Hedrick of York; his grandchildren, R. Steve Moats of Hummelstown, Dave Hedrick, Jr. of York, Holly Holtzinger of York and Kay Holtzinger of Black Mountain, NC; his sister Rosa Kenyon of Dover; and his sister-in-law Sandy Potter of York.
