He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jo Kinard (Glass); his parents, Arthur Kinard and Florence Kinard (Eisenhart); his sons, Anthony Kinard and Brian Kinard; and his brothers, Art Kinard, Donald Kinard, Wayne Kinard and Diz Kinard.
He is survived by: his son Chaplain Rene C. Kinard (Rommi) of Hanover; his grandchildren, Dallas Kinard, Joshua Kinard and Chloe Kinard; and his siblings, Ray Kinard and Joyce Rosenweig. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
