He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Hood Stewart and William Richard Carl Stewart; and his brother W. Richard C. Stewart II (Norma Heaps Stewart). He is survived by: his wife Norma; his daughter Eleanor Stewart Resser; his son-in-law Bill Resser of Mechanicsburg; his children, Judy Stewart of Santa Barbara, Calif. and Andy Stewart (Judy Cusma Stewart) of York; his siblings-in-law, Dr. Kenneth Heaps of Red Lion and Eileen Heaps of Palmyra; his grandchildren, Megan Resser Cash, Jenna Resser Mercatili, Chris Greenberg, Hannah Greenberg Hussain, Eleanor Greenberg, Sada Stewart, Tessa Stewart, Noah Stewart and Coleman Stewart; and his great grandchildren, Dexter and Nora Mercatili. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
