He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank M. Schmidt and Kathryn Schmidt (Nolting); and his daughter Tana Renee Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy (Merritt); his son-in-law David Anthony Brooks, Sr. of York, PA; his grandsons, David Anthony Brooks, Jr. (Chelsea) of York, PA and Tyler Adam Brooks (Nikole) of Mount Wolf, PA; and his great grandchildren, Sophia Brooks and Blane Brooks.
