He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond W. Ruth, Sr. and Rose Joan Ruth (Cavanaugh); his son-in-law Christopher Glatfelter; and his brother Ronald Ruth. He is survived by: his daughters, Catherine Glatfelter and Christine Smith (Shane); his grandchildren, Heather Ostendorff (Jeff), Ryan Smith, Brittney Smith, Lindsay Straley (Justin), Timothy Glatfelter (Rachel) and Alyssa Sprenkle (Andrew); his sister Cheryl Hoover (Tom); his former wife Paulette; and his close friend Virginia. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
