He was predeceased by: his wife Patsy C. Markey (Swank); his parents, Harry B. Markey and Margaret S. Markey (Waltersdorff); and his siblings, Kathryn Markey, Elizabeth Markey, Gladys Fitz and Harry "Bud" Markey.
He is survived by: his children, Ray E. Markey, Jr. (Karen) of York, Brian C. Markey (Angie) of York, Sue A. Forry (Chad) of York and Jacob L. Markey (Angela) of Seven Valleys. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many loving extended family members and friends.
