He was predeceased by: his wife Cynthia J. "Cindy" Bankert; and his mother Anna Mae Bankert. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Bankert (Timothy) and DeeAnne McDaniel (Brian); his grandchildren, Kayla, Ryan, Connor and Dalton; and his great grandchildren, Ben and Kylee.
