He was predeceased by: his wife Jean L. Ashton (Rinehart); and his parents, Ralph W. Sr. Ashton and Mary Frances Ashton (Oaks). He is survived by: his children, Rickey R. Ashton (Anita) of Spring Grove and Deborah J. Ashton of York; his grandchildren, Jean Marie Wanamaker, Rebecca Ashton Parsons and Wesley Charles Ashton; and his great grandchildren, Samuel David Wanamaker, Louisa Marie Ashton, Ellie Marie Wanamaker and Henry Charles Ashton.
