She was predeceased by: her husband Donald L. Matson; her parents, John Egger and Mary Egger (Warner); and her children, Lt. Donald L. Matson, II and Stephanie Ness.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah A. Murr of Mountville, PA; and her grandsons, Bryan Matson of Mountville, PA, Jared Matson (Kiana) of Jacksonville, FL and Zachary Ness (Erica) of Mount Wolf, PA. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
