She was predeceased by: her husband Lester A. Walker; her parents, Marcellus B. Stanton and Mary Alice Stanton (Buser); her daughter Darlene S. Bailey; her grandson-in-law Sam E. Keebaugh; and her siblings, Howard Q. Staton, Evelyn Stover and Virginia A. Keller.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Melinda S. Kuykendall (Bailey), Berlin and Rev. Carrie L. Keebaugh (Bailey) of Waterford; her great grandchildren, Lacy L. Kuykendall (Steven) of Carlisle and Jena S. Miles (Austin) of Florence, SC; her son-in-law Richard L. Bailey (Linda) of Timmonsville, SC; her grandson-in-law Ralph Kuykendall Jr. of Gettysburg; and her sister Fayne E. Hawkins of Hellam. She is also survived by six great-great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Heffner Funeral Chapel (1551 Kenneth Rd, York, PA 17408). A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
