She was predeceased by: her spouse Charles Dennis, Jr.; her parent Franklin Hovis; her sibling James Hovis; and also, Robert N. Ludwig and Charlotte.

She is survived by: her parent Marie Hovis (Gross); her children, Steven G. Ludwig (Debra), Diane L. Gardner-Wilson and Jeff A. Ludwig (Jen); her grandchildren, Rob Ludwig (Heather), Ben Ludwig, David Gardner (Sharon), Chad Gardner, Brandon Blais, Ayden Ludwig and August Ludwig; and her sister Dorothy Mullen (Lloyd). She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
