Marlene Nelson Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate Marlene Nelson (York, Pennsylvania), born in Omaha, Nebraska, whose life came to an end on January 16, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl W. Nelson; and her parents, Florence Capp Durston and E. Earle Durston. She is survived by: her children, Todd D. Nelson (Mary Ann), Timothy D. Nelson (Una) and Amy L. Nelson (Gary Kaschak); her grandchildren, Jordan Nelson (Lauren), Jonathan Nelson (Kristin Coffey), Christian Kaschak (Heather), Victoria Nelson, Caroline Kaschak, Joseph Nelson and Matthew Nelson; and her great grandchild Rosemary Nelson. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter, as well as many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Shiloh Evangelical Lutheran Church (2201 Church Rd, York, PA 17408). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Filey's Cemetery (15 S Fileys Rd, Dillsburg, PA 17019).
