She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Edwin and Mary Ellen Elwood (Wagner); her husband Dr. Charles H. Walters; her son Edwin Lee Walters; and her siblings, John, Harold Elwood, D. Jean Shumaker and Thelma Grace Beers.
She is survived by: her son David C. Walters (Beatrice); her daughter-in-law Deborah L. Walters; and her grandchildren, David C. Walters II, Philip J. Walters, Erica K. Zilk (John), Andrea K. Popovich (Eric) and Christina L. Magnotta (Nicholas). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; eight nieces; and one nephew.
