We bid farewell to Margaret Hazel Ammons of York, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 11, 2025 at the age of 93. Margaret Hazel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Abner Miles and Rena Underwood Miles; her husband Elmer; her daughter Cheryl; her son-in-law James Green; and her grandchildren, Daniel Ammons (Jennifer), Rebecca Witte (Brian), Jonathan Ammons (Lindsay), C. J. Ammons (Melissa), Michelle Kamprath (Brian), Holly Navarro (JC), Wesley Green (Nicole) and Kayla Sharp (Blake).
She is survived by: her children, Victor (Nancy) of Hillsborough, NJ, Christian (Pamela) of York, PA and Lisa Green of Easton, PA.; and her siblings, Robert Miles, Elsie Ammons, Harvey Miles and Lois Lee.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory (2205 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Alamance Memorial Park (4039 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215).
In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome gifts to The Gideons International, a mission which was close to the hearts of Hazel and Elmer.
