He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Dettinger and Irene Dettinger (Fishel); and his siblings, Dean Dettinger, Vernon Dettinger and Patsy Naylor.
He is survived by: his wife Erma Dettinger (Taylor); his children, Cindy Urey (Pete), Jeffrey Dettinger (Tina) and Dania Harrington (Braden); and his siblings, Richard Dettinger, Flo Cordrey, Delores Lighty, Earl Dettinger, Donald Dettinger, Terry Dettinger, Sandy Colyer, Joyce Colyer and Jean Bacon. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lester's memory can be made to the United Methodist Church of Pleasant Grove.
