It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Orr in York, Pennsylvania, born in Bamberg, South Carolina, who passed away on February 10, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Orr and Genever Polite Orr; his wife Ruth Orr; his children, Calvin C. Orr (Snoopy) and Eartha L.; his siblings, Ethel Polk, Essie Gardener, Josiebell Sexton, Lucille Orr, Genora Orr, James Orr (Bubba), Clarence Orr and Jerry Orr; and his godson Chris Simmons (Fatman).
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Harrison of York, PA, Steven Orr of York, PA, Carolyn Orr-Dow (Zane) of York, PA and Craig Ilgenfritz of Towson, MD; his godson Dexter Kirkland of York, PA.; his siblings, Ruth Lawton (Carl) of Boston, MA, Charles Orr of York, PA and Thomas Orr of York, PA; his close friend Stephen Dowery; and his grandchildren, Roy C. Orr (Clay), Ruthalee Orr, Timothy Orr and Vicky Darlene Orr. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
