He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Newcomer and Mary Newcomer (Stambaugh); and his brothers, Donald and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Deirdre Folkers; his children, Caitlin Newcomer, Laura Newcomer and Colin Newcomer; his grandson Jasper Newcomer-Higgs; his in-laws, Diane, Bill Gordon and Debbie Kivler; his niece Rebecca Newcomer; his nephew Sean Kivler; and his pet Angel.
